KARATE UNIFORM
Within karate equipment, you will find the uniform (Karategi), often mistakenly referred to as a kimono, which consists of pants and a jacket. This is the official attire for training or competition. There are two types of karategis:
- Karate UNIFORM for Katas: This type has a heavier fabric weight, making it a somewhat heavier suit to give a sense of power and "kime" to karate techniques.
